What are Electrostatic discharge Chairs?

Also known as ESD seating, these chairs reduce static electricity build up and work as a ground for the static discharge. They also have static dissipative fabric, conductive castors, and drag chains to reduce the build up.

Working with sensitive electrical components without an ESD Chair exposes you to many risk factors. The static electricity that occurs from everyday tasks can cause damage to electronics. Without a safe path to dissipate, the static can cause components to trip or fail. This will mean they may be faulty when delivered to a customer.
