Lockers Lock Upgrades

The majority of our Lockers at Cupboards Direct are fitted with Standard Cam Locks; a single lock that we supply with 2 keys per lock. However, if you would like to upgrade to other lock types, use the options above to select the lock you prefer. A more detailed description of each lock is below to help you identify which environment each lock upgrade is suitable for.

Cam Lock (fitted as standard to all Lockers - not an upgrade)

• Easiest lock to use
• Key used to lock and unlock the compartment
• Perfect for all locker doors (even the smaller compartments on our 6-door lockers)
• 2 keys provided per lock
• Master key available to access all lockers in the vent keys are lost

Swivel Latch Lock

• Suitable in all environments, in particular for Schools
• Simply twist left to latch on and close locker door
• Use a padlock to lock securely (padlock not included)
• Designed so that users bring thier own padlock to lock thier locker doors
• Just £0.01 per lock

Mechanical Combination Lock

• Suitable in most environments; staff rooms, offices
• Simple and effective mechanical lock
• No need for keys or padlock
• Emergency override key allows access in the event a code is forgotten

Coin Return & Retain Lock

• Coin Return; Coin is returned to the user when the locker is opened
• Coin Retain; Coin is stored after use, with no return to the user (source of revenue)
• Ideal in changing rooms, gyms and leisure / activity centres
• No need for keys or padlocks for these locks
• These locks can be used by multiple users and ideal in public spaces
• Locks will only lock with a coin

For more information on our range of locking upgrades, please contact us today. Please order 1 Lock per Locker door. For example, if you have 20 compartments (5 x 4 door lockers), please add 20 locks to the basket, or however many locker doors you require to have the upgraded lock fitted.
