Traditional Cycle Shelters with Perforated Sides
The shelter is constructed from tubular steel sections supporting a corrugated sheet steel roof. The roof overhangs the shelter walls at the front so as to provide protection for bike saddles from all but driving rain. For units mounted close to a wall, the back can be specified as open. The side coverings for these units are perforated flat powder coated panels.
Traditional Cycle Shelters come in a choice of two widths and two depths. The 1900mm depth is suitable for most bikes, whilst the 2500mm depth is recommended if motor cycles or motor scooters are to be stored. For width, there is a choice of 2450mm and 3060mm. Long runs of cycle parking shelters can be created from initial and extension units.
The Traditional Cycle Shelter must be installed by bolting the feet to 250mm thick concrete pads, or by embedding the legs in concrete below ground level. Installing directly into block paving or tarmac is not recommended.
A choice of frame colours is available as standard with optional special colours available for a modest extra cost.
